Charlie Daniels did a real good job on this one. It is plain to me that those in charge have no real plan or interest in protecting our own country.
The border fence was approved and paid for, and they did not build most of it. The feds also have this rather stupid plan where they won’t allow Border Patrol agents to enforce the laws or even patrol in some animal refuge area along the border in Arizona. Well guess where the illegals and dope smugglers will come in? Right there! The dopers don’t exactly stop and ponder if it is an animal protected area and not go through.
There sure are a lot of worthless people in charge in areas they don’t belong! And I sure don’t see them upset that one of our own American citizens was murdered on his own ranch in Arizona near the border. Maybe it was an animal protected area!

Priority On The Border

While the government is consumed by passing unwanted health care bills and turning the USA into a socialist country, one of the most dangerous threats we've faced in decades is unfolding on our Southern borders.
For all intents and purposes, Mexico has been taken over by mercenary drug cartels, which exhibit a brand of violence that rivals al-Qaeda up to and including decapitating their victims.
Sixteen thousand people have been murdered in Mexico in the last couple of years, many of them totally innocent bystanders who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Five hundred police officers were killed in the line of duty, not to mention the federal troops killed in gun battles with the cartel killers.
Now there is a murder for hire outfit called Barrio Azteca that will kill anybody for as little one hundred dollars, and their members number around a thousand or so.
There are billions of dollars involved in the drug trade and it has a corrupting influence that reaches from local law enforcement all the way to Mexico City.
Violence and corruption of this magnitude cannot be contained and already we’re starting to see it make its way into America.
A prominent citizen was recently murdered on his ranch in Arizona by someone who fled back across the Mexican border.
In Southern California gang members have started targeting American law enforcement officers.
In this country the drug dealers are selling heroin to middle school students.
These killers and drug transporters cross our border with impunity.
And our government turns a deaf ear to the impending calamity, passes another piece of socialism and wastes it’s time holding meaningless congressional hearings.
Unless we take stringent measures in a hurry, we are going to reap the results of our laxity, and I’m not talking about passing some toothless piece of immigration legislation. I’m talking about an all out assault on the Mexican drug cartels and violent gangs.
First of all, our border with Mexico is so porous in some places it may as well not exist, and our border patrol is stretched so thin they simply can't cover it all.
We need to beef up the border patrol and let them take the gloves off; let them deal with violence with violence of their own.
Finish the fence.
We need to put enough troops on our Southern border to repel every single person who tries to cross illegally.
Make it so hot for the violent gangs that they can’t find any place to hide on either side of the border. Fight fire with fire. Return bullet for bullet. Zero.
Put major drug dealers away until they're so old they won’t know how to deal.
Support President Calderon of Mexico with whatever assistance he needs to eradicate this plague that has taken over his country.
Prosecute any American company who hires illegals.
Deport illegal immigrants, and let La Raza and all the other pro-illegal organizations raise all the hell they want to unheeded.
The good Mexican American citizens of this nation don't want this violence coming to their country.
We either take these kinds of measures, or sit back and watch the drug cartels and their hired murderers take over the Southwest.
Do something meaningful before it’s too late, President Obama.
