Hey Obama, Keep Your Hands Off My Fishing Pole!

Hello Everyone,

Stopping us regular everyday folks from fishing has got to be among the stupidest, most controlling ideas idiots can come up with.

I personally fish for a combination of things.  One it is generally relaxing.  I mostly fish in the local canals and lakes.  The other is I eat the fish.  I like fish.

I know some people in my own county that fish to supplement their food source.  It does not make up all of their daily nutrients, but it helps.

This idiotic government control over all aspects of our lives is getting worse all the time.  This is just another straw to break our backs.

Godspeed,

Hey Obama, Keep Your Hands Off My Fishing Pole!
By Doug Giles

“Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” – Henry David Thoreau

God, I love fishing. I dig fishing almost as much as hunting (almost). I love it so much that I moved to a place that is one of the top angling spots in the world: Miami, Florida. And you know what? I milk these waters as much as a working man can.

My fishing roots extend back to Texas and my rowdy childhood when my dad used to take me and my brother fishing on the many lakes, ponds and rivers the Lone Star state has to offer.

Our stringer was typical of a freshwater 60s and 70s Texas catch: perch, crappie, black bass, white bass, channel cats, carp and gar. It was way cool for this little redneck. Yes indeed, Bob-Dawg, I dug it all.

For example, as a young punk I took insane pleasure in:

Ø     Buying fishing gear. Very cool.

Ø     Practicing my casting accuracy in my backyard (which still serves me well to this day)

Ø     Reading Outdoor Life and getting pumped on its fishing lies … I mean … stories

Ø     Experiencing the inability to sleep the night before getting up and declaring war on the fish

Ø     Buying bait at freaky bait shops run by guys I swear worked as extras on the movie Deliverance

Ø     Arriving at our strategic and wild location and having the privilege of watching and listening to that which is untamed waking up and beginning its tooth, fang and claw survival of the fittest exchange with Mother Nature. Life and death in its purest form, Nancy boys.

Ø     Taking a crash course from my dad and other gents regarding different lures and the various ways to present them.

Ø     And then, of course, the entre, actually catching a fish and grappling with my gigantic aquatic monster which was, in all reality, a pound-and-a-half bass. (I didn’t care, though, because as far as I was concerned, I was Ernest-Frickin’-Hemingway’s character Santiago, and that little bass was my Marlin.)

Ø     And lastly, basking in the great satisfaction later that evening of watching adults eat what this rugrat provided. I am iron man. Dun, dun. Dun na dun dunna dunna dunna dun dunna dun.

As a young squab, the whole fishing enchilada, from soup to nuts, represented what Bryan Adams called, “The best days of my life.”

With the busyness of college, getting married, raising little girls, making money, and kicking ass, I got out of the fishing groove until I moved mi familia to Miami where I became a fishing kid again and quickly returned to my angling roots.

After a couple of years of getting settled in, weeding through the rip-off charters and bad captains, I landed on two Capitans who are worth their weight in gold. After the Lord blessed me with those two leads I quickly called my dad to get his butt on a plane to bend some rods South Florida style. And oh my God have we crushed the fish.

Not only has pops been a part of many insane hauls, but my wife and my two infamous daughters have, as well. Matter of fact, my girls grew up catching big game fish on light tackle twice their body length without daddy’s help. That’s how they roll, boys. Grow a pair or go home.

In addition to my familial fishing trips, we have had the pleasure of fishing with folks from all over the world and from every conceivable walk of life: from diplomats, bestselling authors, pundits, big name rock stars, Fox News contributors, missionaries, attorney generals, terminal cancer patients, and good buddies at church, to at risk teens without hope and without a clue. We have always had an amazing time, sharing in our mutual addiction that we seek no cure from (i.e. the screaming reel).

The fish we have caught, of which I have the pictures and videos to prove, include: giant bull sharks, lemon sharks, great hammerheads, black tip sharks, spinner sharks (the most enjoyable shark to hook), dusky sharks, sailfish, dolphin, goliath grouper (and their many cousins), permit, bonefish, giant barracuda, tarpon, snook, speckled trout, jack cravelles, amberjack, ladyfish, blue fish, snapper, tripletails, yellow jacks, kingfish, Spanish mackerel, bonita, tuna, red fish and a couple of things I didn’t know what the hell they were.

We have caught them all: small, medium and large. In the gorgeous ultra marine blue seas of the Atlantic, to the gin-clear flats of Biscayne Bay, down to Key West, to the murky fish-rich waters of Chokoloskee, the Ten Thousand Islands area, and the gorgeous, uninhabited sanctuary of Flamingo.

Yep, I blame fish for a lot of the great times in my life. Check it out: All around the personal pursuit of my finny little friend, my life and my relationships have been greatly enriched via stretched monofilament and high-pitched Diawa drag screams.

Which brings me to the point of my column. As much as I have been there and have done that from a fishing standpoint, as you can guess from my eight-hundred-word gush above, I can’t imagine not fishing for the rest of my life nor my kid’s kids not being able to be anglers should they so desire. Fishing is one of the cherished liberties and activities that keeps me giddy about the great American experiment.

That’s why when I hear crap that Obama and his “progressive” ilk want to ban fishing, it gets me … uh … how shall I put this … um… angry. Yeah, that’s a good word. Not only are they upending this nation on many different economical fronts but now they’re talking about the recreationally and economically disastrous move of banning fishing? What’s next? Are they going to ban apple pie? Blonde-haired girls? Chevrolet? No, they own Chevy now. What about baseball?

For those who say, “Ah, it’ll never happen in America,” that’s probably what some folks in Ontario thought before the World Wildlife Fund and the International Fund for Animal Welfare completed their successful campaign to convince the Ontario government to shut down one of the best managed big-game hunts in North America, which crippled many small businesses and the tourism economy of communities across northern and central Ontario.

My advice to fishermen everywhere is to refuse to be silent and scream now via phone calls, emails and faxes to your reps as loud as your Penn reel would wail with a 50lb kingfish strippin’ off its line.

Get ready for the know all, see all, national ID card….plus, plus

Get ready for the know all, see all, national ID card….plus, plus
Laurie Roth
March 10th, 2010

Obama and his administration want to know and control everything, namely us. If given the chance, Obama and his crew will morph into place a national ID Card for Workers under the guise of repairing and responding to the Immigration problem.  Now, the push is on to quickly create a biometric card, which would have embedded information, personal information and fingerprints.  Who cares about that old fossil….privacy rights.  This special and intrusive card would be forced on and used by ALL workers in America.  The recent Wall Street Journal article exposed this very thing.  It isn’t just Democrats who have lost their minds on this.  Senator’s Chuck Schumer (D) and Lindsey Graham (R) are boldly leading this effort and want a bill signed soon.  In fact they are planning to meet with Obama next week to update him on their work.  Isn’t this progressive and most special?  Obama, Schumer and Graham say and believe that forcing this card on all workers would stop new illegal aliens from coming here to work because they couldn’t get work without a card.  The magical thing is that this president and congress are boldly pushing amnesty for the 20-40 million illegal aliens already living here so they need not worry about this new working card.

Illegal aliens will suddenly find themselves Americans and part of the system…..especially, the democratic voting system. “Now….you owe us…pay up.”  Most will pay up you realize.  They will pay by allowing themselves to be totally manipulated and patronized for their votes.  Oh, did you think Obama and his progressive worshipers were wanting to offer amnesty because they were so empathic and nice???

The bottom line is a forced national ID card attached to every American worker will have nothing at all to do with helping the illegal immigration and border disaster.  You realize this would only invite millions more illegal aliens across our borders.  There would be a huge and growing business of stealing worker cards and other Identity documents.

This is part of the grander scheme to control all Americans….what we eat, how long we live, where we go, what we do for work, health care, guns, use of gas and energy and freedom in general.

Just this week I talked with legal analyst and founder of www.faxdc.com,  Steve Eichler about this very thing.  He forwarded me an article from The Wall Street Journal that outlined the very real push for a national ID worker card for everyone.  I was horrified as I started tracking through this and a few other breaking stories, some of which were broken on my show.  I realized that we were closer to a cashless and controlled society than I had thought.

You connect a few dots with me and make up your own mind

Pat Wood of www.augustreview.com broke a huge story and wrote a few articles on the re emergence of Technocracy and the environmentalist’s push and plan for a ‘green economy’ using ‘carbon credits.’  No more cash, no more capitalism as we know it.  You would be assigned so many carbon credits a month to use for gas, food and other needs.  When the Government said they were done for the week or month, you were done.  No more food, gas or anything else, like heat in your home either.  Total control….and green control at that.

Pat also talked about the push now for ‘Smart Grid’ technology.  This is a computerized network of things, where chips are put into your house, from washing machines to ovens and phones…..guess what, the smart grid knows exactly how much energy you use, for what and when you use it.  The big Mamma behind the curtain of ‘smart grid’ can decide when you fly home to Kansas or crash in a field cold and dead.  Already, Pat said that appliance companies who make electronic things in your house are cooperating and putting readable chips in them so the smart grid can do their thing.

Then there is the control with the Health Care bill

In the Senate and House version still being manipulated into place, they have described the IRS controlling this bill.  It would have access to your bank accounts, especially if health payments or bills were late.  Did you ever wonder why this Health care horror show would be governed by the dreaded IRS?  Wonder no more.  They have the biggest and most complicated computer system of tracking there is.  Imagine a person fighting cancer, having lost a job and now behind on payments to a coerced Government health plan……now the IRS is breathing down your back and seizing your bank accounts.

We fight scream and yell about the paid for abortions, forced health insurance or else sections, and rationed health care for seniors.  These areas and more are total nightmares….BUT….the biggest nightmare is a controlled system that connects and directs traffic of Government control, hiding behind health.

Let us review

The push for Technocracy…..cashless society, carbon credits and total control of people, energy and money

National worker ID…..push for cashless society, forcing ID’s on everyone…later the mark of the beast as the Holy Bible describes will come.

Cap and Trade and the Greens…..once again total push for control of energy, environment, what you eat, grow, do for recreation and spend. Just another excuse to regulate, tax and litigate everyone and their dog…….no….the dog will be promoted and sue you.

Health care that is not health care……this is simply a PR safe headline that will ration real health care and choices away from us all.  It will kill our seniors and murder more babies, but we will all pay for it now.  It will control and use our health records, mental health records, habits and choices however the ‘healthcare controllers’ see fit on high.

The Technocracy movement, the Greens and environmental movement, the Government health care movement and now the national worker ID movement belong in the lava hot furnace.  Triple the heat and burn until dead.

Our right to privacy, achievement and freedom is something we are now forced to fight like ‘Brave hearts’ for.  I say, bring it on!  We shall win.

Wyoming Governor Signs Sovereignty Resolution

Hello Everyone,

I have noticed more of these types of laws coming along in a handful of states.  I wonder if those that are getting these bills into state laws are doing it just because the feds are overbearing (and they are), or because they think something brewing, or a little of both?  I am only speculating at this point.  No problem here with their actions for which ever is the reason.

Godspeed,

Wyoming Governor Signs Sovereignty Resolution
by Michael Boldin
10 Mar, 2010

This week, Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal signed House Joint Resolution 2 (HJ0002), claiming “sovereignty on behalf of the State of Wyoming and for its citizens under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government or reserved to the people by the Constitution of the United States.”

Freudenthal, a long-time Democrat, was previously a US attorney for the Clinton administration, and is currently serving his 2nd term as Governor of Wyoming. He endorsed Barack Obama for president and is commonly referred to as one of the most popular governors in the country.

In a memorandum sent to the Wyoming legislature in late January, Freudenthal made clear his position that the federal government has gone beyond the limits of the constitution:

“For decades we have shared increased frustration dealing with the federal government and its agencies. What started out as a leak in the erosion of state prerogative and independence has today turned into a flood. From wolf and grizzly bear management, to gun control, to endless regulation and unfunded mandates – the federal government has become far too powerful and intrusive.”

Once brought to a vote this year, the legislature showed little opposition to sending a notice to D.C. that the federal government is overstepping its constitutional authority. The Senate passed it by a vote of 26-4 and the House by a vote of 56-4.

Notice And Demand

These non-binding resolutions, often called “state sovereignty resolutions” do not carry the force of law. Instead, they are intended to be a statement of the legislature of the state. They play an important role, however.

For example, if you owned an apartment building and had a tenant not paying rent, you wouldn’t show up with an empty truck to kick them out without first serving notice. That’s how we view these Resolutions – as serving “notice and demand” to the Federal Government to “cease and desist any and all activities outside the scope of their constitutionally-delegated powers.” Follow-up, of course, is a must.

House Joint Resolution 2 includes language to this effect:

That this resolution serve as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, from enacting mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers. The state of Wyoming will not enforce such mandates. [emphasis added]

Wyoming joins 10 other states that have passed similar resolutions since last year; Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Tennessee passed theirs in 2009, and Utah, Alabama, and South Carolina have joined Wyoming in passing resolutions this year.

A Growing Movement

These resolutions are part of a growing grassroots movement in state legislatures across the country as a protest to the intrusion of the federal government into state government affairs, and is an essential first step towards efforts to push back, or nullify, unconstitutional federal laws and regulations.

Supporters of such legislation point to laws passed by other states that take the next step – and work to nullify specific federal laws seen as unconstitutional by the state. Fourteen states have now defied federal laws on marijuana. Two dozen states have refused to comply with the Bush-era Real ID Act, rendering that 2005 law virtually null and void today. The legislatures in both Virginia and Arizona have passed legislation effectively nullifying a national health care plan within their borders. Three states have already signed a “Firearms Freedom Act” into law, and Governor Freudenthal is expected to sign HB95 to make Wyoming the fourth.

Resolutions, guns, national ID cards, and weed might be just the early stages of a quickly growing movement to nullify other federal laws seen as outside the scope of their constitutionally-delegated powers. In states around the country this year, bills have been proposed to defy or nullify federal laws on health care, use of national guard troops overseas, legal tender laws, cap and trade, and even the process of collecting federal income taxes.

The final goal? It’s a long way off – a federal government that follows the strict limits of the constitution, whether it wants to or not.

Exhibitionists for the State

Exhibitionists for the State
March 11, 2010

On Monday night, I took two of my children to the Judge Napolitano/Ron Paul evening at the Ohio State University (a fantastic evening, by the way). During one of the segments, Napolitano asked a panel of young folks how they would respond to this common defense of the ever-more intrusive state:

Judge (paraphrased): What would you say to someone who says, “What do I care, I have nothing to hide?”

After mulling this over, if ever asked that very same question, my response is now: I do have stuff to hide. That's why I close bathroom doors, pull bedroom blinds and wear clothes. And no one (save my wife) has any business in any area I declare to be private (including my property and areas where I have contracted with others to keep my private stuff private). The state and its agents included.

Napolitano’s question is an important one. The “I have nothing to hide” response is used time and again by folks who I now see as exhibitionists – exhibitionists for the state. These folks see nothing wrong with opening their private lives to the state – they have nothing to hide.

So the very same folks who pull their blinds to keep the leering eyes of their neighbors out of their bedrooms open those very same blinds to those very same neighbors when they (their neighbors) act as agents of the state. And those folks do so as if a state badge transforms their neighbors into something other than voyeurs – as if the badge makes it all OK.

But the badge is only a sign that the power of force is standing behind the one wearing it, and leering. It should be a point of real concern, not security.

Look, if I left my bathroom door open, you would certainly think me odd. Wouldn’t you wonder why I want to expose my private matters to the world?

I could say, “Since I am not committing a crime, I have nothing to hide.”

Would you buy that line? Would you simply shrug off my actions? Would you feel safer in the presence of someone so open about his peaceful intentions? Would you?

I wear clothes for a number of reasons, with protecting my privacy at the top of the list. Yet I am forced to virtual strip before ogling TSA agents as if I have nothing to hide. But that is the very reason I dressed to begin with.

I desire to hide from my neighbors acting as neighbors, as well as my neighbors acting as agents of the state. I desire to hide.

There are inane responses to questions regarding state interventions. But the “I have nothing to hide” response is the most inane of them all. You have something to hide. We all do. And what we hide is our own business – it is personal.

The next time some exhibitionist for the state claims they have nothing to hide, call them on it. And hopefully they will learn a little lesson.

Missouri House Passes Health Care Freedom Act

Hello Everyone,

I think it is great that states take actions like this.  This kind of action, which I believe is legit under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, nullifies certain acts that states do not believe should be legal in their own state.  Bravo for Missouri, and may others follow in kind!

BTW, I have written numerous letters and/or online emails to both my US Senators and my US Congressman on my objections to this crazy health care plan(s) they are trying to give us against our will.  Both of the senators respond weeks after they get my objections as a rule and the replies are generally nonsense and have not yet answered any direct questions I have asked.  The Congressman has not answered at all in any form.  And I always give a complete address and email in all cases.  Today I followed up with a fax to my Congressman.  We shall see how that goes.

When those elected to represent us at any level consistently fail to respond, or else respond with non-answers to simple questions, they no longer represent us.  When these same officials do not even have the courtesy to reply at all, then they are just self-centered oafs that think they don’t even need to answer to us. When they yet know most of us OBJECT on any issue and go on with it anyhow, the best I can say about them is that they are dirty rotten scoundrels and thieves, and Perdition is the name of the only road they will ever find.

We are in this mess as a nation because too many have forgotten God and placed an idol called government in His place.  Our cries became “Government give me,” and “Government take care of me.”

May God truly be merciful to us all for letting things go so far!

Godspeed,

Missouri House Passes Health Care Freedom Act
Written by: Michael Boldin
05. Mar, 2010

The Missouri State House has passed House Joint Resolution 48 (HJR48). The legislation, known as the “Missouri Health Care Freedom Act” seeks to make public policy for the state that every person within the state of Missouri is and shall be free to choose or decline to choose any mode of securing health care services without penalty or threat of penalty by the federal government of the United States of America.

Here’s the official summary of the bill:

Upon voter approval, this proposed constitutional amendment prohibits any person, employer, or health care provider from being compelled to participate in any health care system. Individuals and employers may pay directly for lawful health care services without being subject to fines or penalties, and health care providers can accept payment for health care services from individuals or employers without being subject to fines or penalties. The purchase or sale of health care insurance in private health care systems cannot be prohibited by law or rule.

The Tenth Amendment to the Constitution codifies in law that the federal government is one of limited, delegated powers – and that all powers not enumerated in the Constitution are reserve “to the States, respectively, or to the People.”

The founders, during the time of the Constitution’s ratification, made clear that a vast majority of regulatory powers would be left in the states – including social services, agriculture, mining, and more.  Click here to read more.

The resolution passed by a vote of 113-40, and is awaiting transmittal to the State Senate.

In an update to supporters, the resolution’s primary sponsor, State Rep. Jane Cunningham, pledged to see the effort through:

“I sincerely appreciate all those who have come out and shown their support, and all those who have shown an interest in the issue. Each of you has my word that I will fight tirelessly until our constitutional rights in Missouri are fully protected from federal encroachment.”

Blueprint For Survival: Castle Defense Put To The Test

Hello Everyone,

I think this article is the last in this series from Greg Evensen.  And this may be redundant for some, but to be clear I am not saying I want anyone to do anything violent or illegal.  Everson goes beyond where I am thinking most any of us would go, including me.  And I am not so worried about every evil organization out there, though they are certainly out there.

I just want people to be aware and prepared for whatever comes our way.  When you read these thing keep in mind that after the quakes in Hattie and Chili there were some gangs of people going around taking what they wanted from those they believed had supplies.  Similar happened in the New Orleans area to some degree, and the government took the guns off of the law abiding citizens, and some unarmed citizens were shot by police.  After the LA riots related to the Rodney King incident, the shopkeepers that came out the best were those that stood their ground with shotguns and .45s.  In the Muslim countries people are killed by crowds and sometimes government officials for the great crime of being a Christian.

So when you read things like what is written below, just put things into the correct perspective.  There is not a globalist or other evil type behind every tree, but some may be around a corner someplace.

Godspeed,

Blueprint For Survival: Castle Defense Put To The Test
Part 3
By Greg Evensen
March 7, 2010

During the final moments, when all of the preparation and training experience is on the line, you will only survive because you WERE prepared, trained, dedicated to the cause, and absolutely willing to do what you must do.  No excuses, no second guesses, no what if’s or should I’s.  Just one simple decision merged with the greatest element of all.  You did not hesitate.  Everything, every last second of your entire life, comes down to that simple truth.  You were ready and you did not hesitate to implement your plan when the event demanded it.  There is no other reason for doing all of this, investing your treasure or putting it all at risk.

Whatever is God’s great plan for our lives, one thing is certain.  We face the same road for survival as did those first ancestors of ours.  It has always been that way.  We have just overlooked the reality of that hard fact of life because of the luxury in which we live and the technological environment that has given us so much to comfort ourselves with our whole life.

The diabolical national governmental cabal that has legislated the surrender of our freedoms, relative prosperity, and the sense of personal peace and safety that has been so much a part of our society for so many decades, has kidnapped our “comfort” and our destiny. That liberty is now imprisoned by our own government, is threatened daily by Congress and ruthless security agencies within government aimed directly at each one of us and our literal freedom.  It is in itself a justification for a totally no compromising position with government and a clarion call for seeking a newly constituted Republic, right now.

No one should be so foolish as to think that changing the course of this nation from tyranny and socialism by communist one worlders who own Washington, D.C. to a sovereign, liberty bell ringing citizen owned nation, will be achieved by anything less than a titanic struggle to the death of either the encroaching dictatorship police state or of the “free” nation of America.

The death of dictatorship will be achieved at the ballot box or by the bullet box.  There is no other course left open to patriots.  The time line is critical and it is imminent.  It is made so by the contrived and planned destruction of the integrity of the currency, the failing economy, debt beyond comprehension, corruption worthy of the Board Room of Hell, collapsing governing infrastructure and the surrender of our national and state sovereignty.  Our government leaders surrendered to Illuminati handlers deep within the bowels of the Bilderburg occultists, the council on Foreign Relations Luciferians, and the other Satan worshipping traitors holding elected office and “managing war” from the Pentagon.  Wimps in most of the pulpits round out a maggot infested roster of pathetic “leaders” who must be routed and charged for their crimes against this nation and its people.

My vitriol is aimed at the perpetrators of this centuries old desire for conquest by the world cabal.  It is not aimed at our form of government or its constitutional institutions.  Make no mistake, there are many unconstitutional cancerous growths of state and federal agencies that must be eliminated and the unrestrained freedom in one’s life to live without smothering government regulations, taxes and security services (SS) must be re-established.  This will only come when Americans by the millions force themselves into the belly of this beast and gut it from the inside out.  You must be prepared to survive any number of unintended consequences including the reality that the government’s agenda, nature, the galaxy, or the relentless, desperate, get even ruthless culture of illegals, perverts, and socialist leftists within the borders of this nation are true enemies and must be exiled forever.

Wherever you find yourself in this great spectrum of pending change, you had better grasp and ponder the power of the politically correct, intolerant tsunami that will grind you under its forceful hand just as surely as if you had been hit by a 5000 foot wall of water.  The result will be the same.  Your America, your way of life, your culture, your belief system, your family, your children, and your dreams for a better nation are against the wall RIGHT NOW--with the firing squad formed and ready.

Establishing Defensive Perimeters For Your Retreat

Strategic planners in the military and within police or security agencies generally agree on one point.  Utilizing defensive strategies are as important to withstanding frontal assaults, as counterstrikes are to regaining lost ground or expanding one’s offensive gains.  In other words, maintain what you have effectively before you can hope to gain ground or repel attackers.

This all important concept will allow you the flexibility to withstand a frontal assault and not give up any ground.  You must do several things.

First, establish a forward line of observation and security using at least two posts of operations well concealed and holding enough offensive firepower to resist a direct assault or conclude an engagement from those positions.  You will ideally allow any advancing force through your area of coverage and into the red zone where any hostile force will be consumed by directed fire coming from opposing frontal and rear guard points creating a crossfire that is 100% effective against the bad guys and allows coordinated selective fire zones that do not endanger one another.

KNOW YOUR FIRE POSITIONS PRECISELY SO THAT YOU DO NOT DIRECT FIRE AT YOUR OWN TEAMS.  This concept can be easily adapted to provide an effective ambush of really bad guys, if you know from intelligence or observation that they are coming.  (Roving bands of gangs foraging for supplies, etc.)

This same concept---or one that you devise---should be utilized at all four points of the compass or in whatever design that effectively protects your area of control.  Do not assume that a large body of water, an open desert plain or a high ridge will be natural protection from invading forces and that you can use personnel somewhere else.  That will get you quickly penetrated and dead.  This concept is a 24/7 operation under the worst scenarios.

Use of well concealed tree stands, or “spider holes” (dug deeply with cover to conceal your position on a frontal observation or fire team location) are all useful, but not always practical.  How much theater you put into this is up to you and your logistical capabilities.  Also, keep in mind that you may create a no-escape location using these strategies and you are then an easy target once located and swarmed upon by the bad guys.  Think this through and plan well!

Directed Fire At Strategic High Priority Targets

This is relatively simple but must be understood and be an automatic response by all who are to be engaged in defensive operations.  The basics must be: ample ammunition to achieve the goal, communication between “commanders” who can observe the big picture and the people manning the fire positions, and absolute discipline to survive and win.

If a large contingent of bad guys is set to invade your area with force, then you are justified in defending your position and your people.  If they are using vehicles or in some instances air assets, then you prioritize your target cluster and eliminate them one at a time.  By concentrating ALL available firepower at the most deadly advance of people and equipment, you are reducing your chances of being overrun and captured or killed.  The second target cluster is then engaged and you use the same battle tactics until all threats are eliminated.  Keeping in mind that this type of scenario would be relatively rare, you must still plan for it and have enough resources to do the job or your only last resort will be full retreat.  For those who have never trained for this or been engaged in actual combat, retreat is not a run for safety, it is YOU providing your back as a target for the oncoming bad guys. So, doesn’t it make sense to not be in that position in the first place?  Plan, plan, PLAN!!

Understand And Implement Justifiable Use Of Force

Praying that all of these plans will never be used, but understanding fully that the likelihood of a meltdown within this nation at some point is inevitable given the government’s focused desire to force confrontation, leaves us a personal choice of doing nothing or preparing for the worst.  I have always advocated preparation since I am not and never have been a person who trusts my ultimate survival to strangers and incompetents.  Add to that list illegal aliens, politicians and Muslims.

If “civil” government re-emerges, and our constitution survives, then we must all agree that the sovereign jury (free of dictator judges) could at some point, hear charges against ANYONE who violates standards of defensive conduct even during times of total breakdown.  The fine line between offense and defense will be blurred when you are contemplating waging war against the bad guys (whoever that may ultimately become and from whatever source they emerge).  Justification for the use of deadly force at any level on the force continuum as they taught us in the state police academy or basic training in the military consists of this maxim.  You may use the force necessary to defend your life or the life of someone under your “control”--read that immediate protection, and you are defendable under the self-defense doctrine that is the standard for exemption from criminal charges in virtually all jurisdictions.  I must assume at this point that once order was returned, all conduct will be subject to similar judgment circumstances within informed, impaneled juries where necessary.  So, contemplate carefully your use of force and the consequences of your decisions.  I could say more here about “all-out war” and the contest between battle field civility and tactical victory, but I believe most of you will understand what I am saying here.  This is about gross overuse of deadly force or criminal conduct in the application of that force.  Winning and eliminating the enemy from ever surviving to fight again is a completely different subject.  That tactic must be the only one you live by.

Re-Establishing Territorial Leadership After Battle

As a final point of operation before I end this installment, it is important to consider what you will do when order is restored after any military, police, or foreign troop operations, natural disaster, or other major event has ended.  Keeping your network operational and effective will be absolutely imperative so that no one will attempt to disarm or inter you for whatever reason.  You must never surrender your power as a sovereign citizen and the supremacy of civil government by trusted individuals elected fairly to make the community decisions necessary to function in a moral, non-corrupted environment.  Anarchy and “tribal” settings may work for some in the short term, but for those who wish to be a part of a republic that can defend itself and prosper, there must be leadership and organization.  Accountability, understanding, agreement and responsibility must be the pillars that hold up that new Republic now and in the future, no matter how we insist on real, solid, believable and trustworthy “change.” The word change can have its good reputation restored after the charlatan communist-in-chief and his czar studded regime is disgraced and abandoned and he is no longer in power.

Thank you to the thousands who have written and expressed your views about this series.  I knew going in that for some it would be simplistic and have only minimal value.  That is because you were participating already in the game and working diligently to get yourselves ready.  For others it was somewhat new and gave you direction you did not have.  For still others, it was all new and very overwhelming.  To write for a crowd somewhere in the middle is not possible, so I have given every word from my own training, and actual experience.  I teach these concepts from my heart to groups around the country.  I will be in Texas, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, Montana, California and other places are pending.  If all of these hold and can be completed before any number of national crises flash points occur, then we are all better off for the efforts made.  If not, then you have something to work with and contemplate as you add your own thoughts to those presented here.

We are down to our last couple of cases of Castle Defense DVD’s (a nearly nine hour “course” on what I have started in this series.  Go to www.theheartlandusa.com).  Before I invest in any more, I am turning my efforts on training as many as I can in the field using these strategies or others.  If you are interested in hosting a training session, call me at 906-367-0505.  We have only a few open times left in a hectic next five months.  Many of our sites do not want publicity and have the number of folks they want included and that is it.  Those are the “ark” people as I affectionately call them, and I understand why they want it confidential.  I am driving to many of the sites so that I can avoid the Gestapo at O’Hare and can bring other supplies with me.  We’ll do our best to help all we can.  The threats and attempts to silence or intimidate me from the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and government agents continue, but they are all losers on the losing side in this struggle and they know it.

We Will Not Quit Or Surrender!

Our prayers and support are with you.  I take calls every day from stressed out folks, some in tears about what they should do.  Just get ready with what you have and can get done with the resources you have.  Your life has a price tag that you set.  I have given you ideas.  You must do the rest.

Please do not rely on the government or someone who has done the hard work.  Start now with what you have and get those things MOST necessary to survive.  At least you can make it through the opening worst part of any crises without waiting for the Army to come to your door.

Prepare, watch, wait, pray and be very steady in the face of the oncoming storm……..steady beats panic any day.  God bless each one of you.  As always, “steady as she goes patriots………….”
